Partnership launch

ISS and Hivos officially launched their partnership on CivilSocietyBuilding during a closed seminar on December 9th, an opportunity for ISS researchers and students and Hivos staff to get to know one another.

Speakers from both institutes, including researchers, students, Hivos staff from the Netherlands and abroad, shared insights on trends in and aspects of CSB, needs and wishes for the partnership network. At the same time the session helped identify priorities, expectations and needs, serving as the launch for the civilsocietybuilding.net web platform, and a kick-off discussion for the public symposium, early 2005, on Civil Society and Weak States.
