TOWARDS AN INCLUSIVE INFORMATION SOCIETY

For the third time Hivos, Oneworld and IICD present: Fill-the-Gap!. This public event is focused on themes related to the UN summits on the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva (2003) and Tunis (November 2005) and will take place on November 3 in the Museum of Communication, The Hague.

HIVOS AND ISS LINK PRACTICE AND THEORY ON CIVIL SOCIETY BUILDING IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

9 Dec 2004, Manuela Monteiro & Hans Opschoor Development agency Hivos and international academic centre Institute of Social Studies (ISS) have joined forces to expand and share knowledge on civil society building in developing countries. Today, both organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding to ratify their partnership. An important component of the partnership is the establishment of a network for knowledge sharing in the context of civil society building.
